Arched Internal Doors In West Wellow

Introduction

Here at Applewood Joinery we enjoy a challenge and these arched internal doors gave us the chance to let our workmanship speak for itself. Made for a property in East Wellow, this was a rewarding project for our team and we are always glad to support our local community.

The Materials We Used

The doors were made from tulipwood, a reliable timber that is quality and used for interior joinery. We added single-glazed toughened glass to give the doors a bright, open feel while still being safe and sturdy. To finish them off, we chose some classic brass hinges and a simple black handle set.

The Details

The key feature of these doors is the curved design. It took meticulous setting and working out from our team to get the design spot on. We had to ensure that they met in the middle to produce the stunning curve at the head. We finished the doors in Slipper Satin from Farrow and Ball which is a soft chalky off white that suits the design.

Collaboration

We worked closely with the customer to agree on the all of the details for the doors They had a clear idea of the style they wanted, and we discussed the best materials, paint options, and the furniture so the joinery would fit naturally into the home. Regular check-ins and drawings ensured everything aligned with their expectations.

Project Summary

Everyone was very happy with how this project came together. From the first plan to the final installation we handled every stage ourselves which meant we stayed fully aligned with our customer and kept the whole process steady and well coordinated.
